I’m an Associate Professor in the School of Computing in the College of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul University.  My Ph.D. was in theoretical computer science at the University of Chicago, but in the past decade most of my research has been in the area of computing education.  In this blog I share my thoughts about computing education as well as interesting articles, links, and papers that I find.

I’m grateful to Mary Jo Davidson for starting me blogging when I was serving as director of the Innovation in Technology Education Center.  My thanks to Mark Guzdial for writing the inspirational blog on computing education.
